Measuring distances on the map

Modified on Fri, 5 Sep at 1:54 AM

With 15th Club, measuring distances is more than just front-middle-back yardages. You can interact with the map to get precise distances to any point: a hazard, a layup spot, or the flagstick itself.

There are two powerful ways to measure:

1. Distance arcs (Premium required)

You will see distance arcs around your location. These give you a quick idea of how far different points on the hole are from where you are standing. Take full advantage of this feature to:

  • Plan your layups
  • Estimate club carry
  • Evaluate landing zones off the tee.

You can also customize the distance arcs. Just drag them on your phone or watch to reposition their center - whether it's the middle of the fairway, a tricky dogleg or your ideal landing zone.

2. Manual measure

Need precise yardage to the front of a bunker or the flag? Just tap and hold anywhere on the map and 15th Club will display:

  • Distance to that point from your current location

  • Elevation change (if applicable)

  • And, if you move the point again, it updates instantly.

We also recommend using this feature in combination with Plays Like yardages to understand how real conditions affect your targets.

What you can measure

Using either method, you can measure to:

  • The flagstick – know your exact yardage to the pin
  • Hazards – bunkers, water, doglegs, trees
  • Layup points – position yourself for your next shot
  • Greenside targets – front edge, back edge, or any angle.

Whether you’re avoiding trouble or attacking the green, you have the data to make the right call. Measuring allows you to plan smarter shots, avoid trouble zones and build confidence in club selection.

No setup needed

This feature is ready out of the box   just open the map during your round and start measuring.
